Nusa Lembongan
Nusa Lembongan is a small holiday island destination 20 km off the southeast coast of Bali. You can reach it with a 45-minute boat ride from Sanur Beach or Benoa Harbour. It’s a lot quieter than the south of Bali, making it a great place to go for a quiet, relaxing break.
Often referred to as ‘Lembongan’ for short, the island is the most popular destination among the group of 3 islands, the other 2 being Nusa Ceningan and Nusa Penida. Great reefs and wave breaks also make it a favourite among divers and surfers, and the water is among the clearest you’ll find anywhere around Bali.
Karangasem
Karangasem is one of regency in Bali island. This regency is famous for the many large temples in this area. This makes the religious ceremonies held in this area more numerous and lively. Apart from being able to see the tradition up close, you can also see the sunrise from the good and famous spot “Heaven Gate Lempuyang”.
Sanur
Sanur beach is a beautiful white sandy beach with calm and warm seawater located in east part of Denpasar town. This beach location in east side and south part of Sanur Village is an edge of Indonesia Ocean. This place has famous there is a stone monument found in this place as an inscription of Sri Kesari Warmadewa King with the palace in Singhadwala year 917, where abouts now there are in Blanjong, southern part of Sanur Beach.
Nusa Penida
Nusa Penida is the largest and most exotic of the 3 Nusa islands, thanks to its collection of unique Hindu temples and picturesque natural features of cliff formations and lagoons. More recently, the island became best known as the new sanctuary of the once-endangered Bali starling (originally an endemic species from the forested region of West Bali National Park) following a highly successful captive breeding programme.
Nusa Penida measures over 200 sq km – significantly larger than the popular Nusa Lembongan and its accessible sister island, Nusa Ceningan. Lesser-travelled compared to the other 2, Nusa Penida has a very limited number of hotels and tourist features. Even so, what it lacks in infrastructure, it makes up for with unspoiled natural beauty and rare cultural highlights.
